Discover the kitchen trends of 2024 from Keller? You can do just that during the Küchenmeile at the Gut Böckel estate. A trip to Rödinghausen (Germany) is firmly on the agenda of many kitchen professionals. Especially since ten of the brands present joined forces to organize a genuine Benelux evening.
The historic Gut Böckel estate is perhaps the most imaginative trade fair location during the Küchenmeile. One by one, the various old buildings were renovated into a multipurpose space. One of these buildings is the Haferhaus, for several years now the scene of a successful cooperation between Keller and worktop specialist Jetstone. Also this year, the Dutch firms joined forces and transformed the Haferhaus into an attractive showroom.
Both brands closely follow interior design trends. As a result, their cooperation has been running smoothly for several years and it has produced some picture-perfect kitchen setups time and again. "The colors and materials are applied in a series of surprising kitchen designs and in a variety of styles," sounded the invitation sent by both brands. "Even more, we are organizing a special evening for our Benelux dealers. On Sunday evening, September 17, our guests, in good Burgundy custom of the two companies, will lack nothing." It must be said, both the temporary showroom in the Haferhaus and the Benelux evening were a hit.
Keller follows trends closely. Three notable trends have influenced the development of the new colors and models for 2024. Nature, especially landscapes and colors, has perhaps been the biggest inspiration. After all, deep and vibrant colors add extra elegance to a design. We also see a movement where the idea of the perfect picture gives way to a new maximalism. Here there is room for colorful palettes and patterns that are culturally inspired. For the third current, we go back to ancient Greece. The roots of Mediterranean culture with earthy textures, and colors and shapes from ancient Greece, give rise to colorful and bold color combinations where we also see organic shapes. "The sphere of influence of these three trends led us to beautiful nude tones, chic greiges, textured materials and deep, vibrant colors from nature," said Debbie van den Oever of Keller. "We are showing here at Gut Böckel the palette from which the kitchen designer can choose in 2024."
Perhaps the most striking theme that Keller unpacked during Küchenmeile was the introduction of a new range of lighting. "We are working from a single platform that meets all of today's needs and requirements," van den Oever explains. "Both spotlights and LED strips will soon be operable with one remote control, switch or via an app. The lighting platform will also be compatible with Zigbee and Alexa, for example. The 24V lighting provides 13% more light at 40% less energy consumption. Available in January."
