As of July 30, 2025 Elica S.p.A., a leading manufacturer of kitchen ventilation systems and home appliances, acquired a 28% stake in Steel Cucine S.r.l., the Italian parent company of Steel Benelux B.V.
This entry is the result of a conscious, strategic choice. Elica is a partner with deep technological expertise and a strong global distribution network. The collaboration enables Steel Cucine to further strengthen its innovative power as well as grow faster internationally.
Particularly in North America, a region with great growth potential for Steel, the partnership with Elica offers new commercial opportunities. Also within Europe is working to further strengthen its market position.
For our relations in the Benelux, nothing will change.
Steel Benelux B.V. continues to operate independently, under the same leadership of Christian Borsboom, with the same product range and with the same commitment to quality and design. We remain the trusted point of contact for our retail partners in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
