A biennial trade fair attended by professionals from all over the world is the ideal platform to present a brand new and innovative pocket system. Blum exhibited at Interzum with Revego, opening (literally) new doors in the field of flexible use of space.
Furniture suppliers from all over the world as well as the interior design industry once again descended on Cologne (D) for Interzum. Visitors discovered the latest trends, discovered innovations of all kinds and discussed the future with industry professionals. As one of the leading manufacturers of fittings for kitchens and furniture, Austrian company Blum could not be missing as an exhibitor. And so a large delegation from the Belgian company Van Hoecke, distributor of Blum hinges, lift systems and drawer systems in the Benelux, was also present. In the spotlight: Revego, a sliding door system with fully integrated technology.
The brand-new Revego pocket system is more complex than it looks. This perception arises thanks to its great ease of use. After all, a light touch is enough to make the innovative folding sliding door disappear completely into the pockets. A push against the door is enough to bring it out of the pockets again. Then the door slides back to the closed position and the whole thing is elegantly closed. The construction is completely concealed in the pockets provided for this purpose, allowing complete design freedom in planning.
As mentioned, Van Hoecke has been a distributor of Blum's products in the Benelux for many years. "We are therefore eager to get started with Revego," it sounds with conviction. "But we wouldn't be Van Hoecke if we didn't add something extra. In any case, it is possible to plan Revego very precisely with the Blum Product Configurator, which then immediately provides all drill images, parts lists and the like. With Van Hoecke we are adding a step, namely that an order can be sent directly from the product configurator to our webshop. Immediate assurance that the right parts are delivered."
The direct link to Van Hoecke's webshop is not the only additional feature of the Sint-Niklaas (B) firm. "In fact, we give the client a choice of three service levels," Van Hoecke explains. "The delivery of all hardware products in individual parts is, of course, a matter of course. But we also give the option of having the aluminum parts already cut to the correct dimensions. Or, one step further, immediately order everything to size. With this last service level, the wooden parts, think of the pockets and possibly also the fronts, come fully customized in the chosen color and plate material. All bores are also provided. So immediately everything on hand for a smooth installation of the new Revego system."
