Culimaat is opening a new showroom at Het Sterrenbeeld 25 in Den-Bosch. With a floor area of no less than 2,000 m², it is not a traditional showroom, but a carefully designed environment where kitchen and interior design, experience, and connection come together.
For years, Culimaat has been known for designing and creating exceptional custom kitchens, where design, functionality, and quality always go hand in hand. Each concept is fully tailored to the user’s lifestyle and forms a harmonious whole in which every detail is just right. With the opening of this new location, Culimaat translates that vision into a spatial experience.
The showroom, located on Sterrenbeeld in Den Bosch, was designed as a place where visitors not only find inspiration but also truly experience design. The serene setting, created with high-quality materials, serves as the backdrop for a series of complete kitchen and interior displays, each with its own signature style and application.
The design and interior were developed entirely in-house by the owners—brothers Davy and Twan Swanenberg and Herman Ossenblok. Their vision is reflected in a clean design language, a refined use of materials, and a strong focus on balance and tranquility.
What sets this location apart is its versatility. In addition to the spacious showroom, the building features an auditorium for lectures and product launches, art exhibitions, a high-end cooking studio for culinary sessions and private dining, high-quality meeting rooms, and a Skylounge with a bar and rooftop terrace for events and gatherings.
The new Culimaat showroom was developed as an exclusive networking platform for architects, interior designers, entrepreneurs, and high-end clients: an environment where ideas are born, collaborations are strengthened, and the experience takes center stage. In doing so, Culimaat reaffirms its position in the highest segment of the market, not only as a designer and manufacturer of exclusive custom kitchens, but also as a curator of a total experience where living, working, and socializing come together.
In collaboration with a carefully curated group of partners, including Audio Expert, Kreon, Indivpro, Lutron, Zero9, Equidéé Design, Lusso, Veraluxe, Alterwood, and Trivium, we create a total experience in which various disciplines come together seamlessly. Culimaat collaborates with twelve different artists to ensure that a highly diverse selection of artwork is always on display.
All Culimaat kitchens are designed, developed, and manufactured entirely in-house—tailored down to the smallest detail to meet the highest standards of design, craftsmanship, and technology. These kitchens not only look exceptional but also represent the absolute pinnacle of exclusive custom work. A tour of the ground floor takes you past six extraordinary kitchen designs. All of these kitchens can be fully customized and tailored to the customer’s specifications, making every Culimaat kitchen a unique, custom-made piece. A total of nine kitchens are on display.
VETRAE is a kitchen that exudes tranquility and sophistication. Materials that invite you to touch them, proportions that feel just right, and lighting that creates just the right accents. Not complex, but thoughtfully designed down to the last detail.
Inspired by the principles of the Bossche School, a subtle interplay of balance and tension emerges. Travertine with a silvery-gray hue and the semi-precious stone crystal quartz combine to create depth and a serene whole that looks fresh during the day and radiates warmth in the evening.
Up close, the materials come to life: stone, wood, and tin form a subdued palette, in which functionality blends seamlessly into the design. Technology remains out of sight, but is there exactly when needed.
Lighting plays a key role. With adjustable micro-spots, the cabinet effortlessly adapts to the moment—from bright morning light to a soft evening glow. The Culimaat Sliding Cabinets turn storage into an experience: a quiet composition of light, materials, and objects, constantly rebalancing itself.
OMBRA. In this exclusive custom kitchen, aesthetics and functionality come together seamlessly. This latest creation is characterized by a striking combination of refined marble and innovative liquid metal, resulting in a kitchen that feels like an architectural statement.
At the heart of the design is the spacious kitchen island, crafted from high-quality marble with a robust yet elegant look. The warm, earthy tones are enhanced by subtle accents in liquid metal, which lend the entire space a contemporary and luxurious sheen. The interplay of natural and industrial materials creates a unique balance between tranquility and character.
A distinctive feature of this kitchen is the Culimaat signature: the integrated lift in the kitchen island and the pantry. This smart solution combines innovation with ease of use. With a single fluid motion, the lift cabinet opens to reveal a fully equipped storage space, perfect for kitchen appliances and everyday essentials. The pantry, integrated into the cabinetry, offers a well-organized and stylish place to store ingredients and tableware.
The kitchen was designed with an eye for detail and comfort. Clean lines, handle-less cabinet fronts, and carefully placed lighting create a serene atmosphere where cooking and spending time together take center stage. The high ceilings and open layout enhance the sense of space and luxury.
BRUTE. This kitchen concept centers on pure materiality and architectural simplicity. The design is characterized by striking contrasts: a sleek, floating Corian countertop rests on robust elements of rough-hewn natural stone, creating a sculptural composition that exudes both tranquility and strength.
The kitchen has a minimalist feel, yet is rich in detail. The combination of refined lines, solid materials, and carefully integrated features creates an understated luxury centered on balance. A spacious hidden cabinet accommodates a complete coffee corner or everyday kitchen essentials, allowing functionality to remain subtly out of sight while preserving the design’s sense of calm.

ALUNE. This kitchen brings together softness, sophistication, and architecture. The rounded shapes and balanced proportions create a serene, almost sculptural look in which luxury is subtly evident.
The bronze-colored cabinetry serves as a striking backdrop for the light-colored island with its elegantly beveled countertop. The natural stone and custom details enhance the design’s layered character and lend the space warmth and depth.

Cleverly integrated solutions, such as the stone coffee nook and custom-made Gaggenau appliances, blend seamlessly into the overall design. The result is a kitchen that feels like a understated design statement—elegant, timeless, and designed around the experience.
STRICTO is a kitchen where precision and refinement come together to create a powerful, timeless design. Clean lines and a balanced composition evoke a sense of calm and effortless elegance, while every detail reflects craftsmanship and thoughtful choices.
Materials play a key role here. Cabinet fronts with a subtle wood grain and a matte finish add warmth and depth, while the Dekton countertop provides a sleek, durable contrast. In the alcove, integrated lighting casts a soft glow, naturally highlighting features such as the coffee corner.
Technology and design are seamlessly integrated. The equipment and features support the user experience without visually dominating the space, ensuring that the overall look remains calm and balanced.
STRICTO can be fully customized to suit personal preferences, with a variety of colors, finishes, and configurations. The result is a kitchen that exudes understated luxury and blends effortlessly with the space and its user.
UMAMI. In collaboration with Van Rossum, Culimaat developed a kitchen concept that combines purity, functionality, and refined materials. Part of the Signature Kitchen collection, this kitchen is characterized by its clean lines and open architecture, designed to integrate seamlessly into everyday life. The combination of wood and Belgian blue stone creates a powerful, timeless look, with the option for customization in various types of marble. Movable elements form the heart of the kitchen and adapt effortlessly to every moment. This dynamism gives Equinox an almost effortless elegance, in which technology and user experience blend seamlessly.
The strength lies in the materials: high-gloss lacquer with a subtle sense of depth, characterful bog oak, solid brass with a warm glow, and carefully selected marble. Together, they create a rich, layered palette that changes with the light and evokes a new atmosphere every time.
Everything comes together in the kitchen island. An innovative rotating system, concealed within the design, underscores the focus on precision and innovation without disrupting the overall sense of calm.
