A true family business, that is Triple-G & Partners from Culemborg. Specialist in logistics, and assembly of kitchens in the middle and high segment. This year marks their 20th anniversary. An organization that also radiates being a family business; with love for their work and industry. We speak with director Ed Gobes about the company he founded with his brothers and expanded into a professional and reliable partner for the kitchen industry.
Incredible and fantastic. That is our first reaction when we walk through the warehouse with Ed Gobes, director of Triple-G & Partners. Ed: "All these kitchens and related products will be delivered and installed at consumers' homes within a few weeks."
Triple-G relieves a lot of kitchen companies in terms of logistics and kitchen assembly. They also supervise large projects from A to Z and their expertise is highly valued in our industry. Years of experience is a specialty that dozens of retailers benefit from every day. And the organization is far from sitting still. In recent years they have proactively professionalized and further developed their services. This is also why Ed coined the term Triple-G 2.0.
The headquarters in a new look, realization of the new warehouse, more quality own staff, even better automation (including a new WMS & TMS system with communication tool), plans for energy transition and the like give a good picture of an organization that is ready for the future. They are therefore increasingly approached for collaborations. Usually on the basis of fixed agreements, sometimes an ad hoc assignment.
Outsourcing (also called outsourcing) is something many entrepreneurs find exciting. Ed knows this, too. "They are handing over something of their business. But if they calculate the costs for them for a warehouse, their own truck and/or bus with permanent employees, outsourcing is more interesting than they think. Especially when energy transition will play a major role here. Moreover, we fully realize that we are the business card for our customers and therefore ensure that our performance is in line with their core value. We think that's really important too, and of course they just keep making the decisions." He continues: "Should there be any irregularities, our people always communicate with our client first. We always work on their behalf. Also, we keep an eye on developments in the kitchen industry and in our field of work. In previous years, we have also been able to further expand our services with, among other things, a surveying service and as a partner in the replacement market. The biggest challenge for the coming years lies in the major changes in logistics, but our customers don't have to worry about that. We do that for them!"
These values have been well guarded since our founding in 2004. Ed: "In those twenty years, we have always focused on providing the perfect service. A transparent cooperation without open ends, because that suits a family business. All this combined with countering opportunities for error and thus optimizing all our services and processes."
Triple-G is a real family business that started in Almere and when this jacket became too small, Jan Krediet's building in the middle of the country in Culemborg became available. By now, the building has the look you'd want. Ed: "We are proud of what we do and especially what we can do for our customers. Through the commitment and drive of a fantastic team of employees and technical specialists, we realize beautiful quality kitchens for our clients across the country every day!" And they all did so on the day we visited them with big smiles on their faces.
