Moreover, the lifespan of this type of cooktop has increased significantly in recent years.”
Within Whirlpool's range, that balance is evident. The matte finish gives the cooktop a well-kept, high-quality look while remaining resistant to everyday use. The scratch-resistant surface ensures that the cooktop retains its neat appearance even after intensive use.
On top of that, these induction hobs feature MattProtect. This is a scratch-resistant and easy-to-clean coating, such as the shiny CleanProtect coating. Grease and dirt therefore get less grip on the surface. In many cases, a quick wipe with a cloth and water is enough to get the cooktop clean again. This not only makes maintenance easier, but also more pleasant in daily use.
Comfort is also evident during the cooking itself. Whirlpool's induction cooktops are equipped with 6TH SENSE automatic functions that adjust temperature and power independently. The cooktop responds to what is happening in the pan and supports the user as needed. “You notice that technology is cooperating more and more in the background,” said Van Etten. “The user has to set less manually, while the results actually become better and more consistent.” That gives confidence while cooking and makes for a pleasant, relaxed way of working in the kitchen.
The controls seamlessly match that sense of convenience. Sliders allow power to be set with one fluid motion. It works quickly, precisely and immediately feels familiar.For the showroom, this is a clear advantage. Customers immediately see and experience how easy the system works, which lowers the threshold.
These cooktops also offer a lot of freedom when it comes to installation. They are suitable for flush installation and are available in widths of 59 and 77 centimeters. This allows them to fit into a variety of kitchen designs, from compact to spacious. With power management, the power can also be matched to the available connection. This makes the hobs suitable for both new kitchens and renovation projects.
Within this segment, models available include the 77-centimeter WL S3777 NE BM and the 59-centimeter WB S2560 NE BM. These induction hobs by Whirlpool combine a matte finish with scratch resistance, CleanProtect coating and 6TH SENSE functions. What's more, these cooktops pair extra well with Whirlpool's other cooking appliances with matte finishes, such as range hoods and combination microwave ovens.
