Platform about design and technology in the kitchen, home, and bathroom industry
Maximum efficient. Maximum simple. Maximum sustainable.

Maximum efficiency. Maximum simple. Maximum durability.

Naber succeeds in a quantum leap: the manufacturer specializing in kitchen accessories lifts with COMPAIR PRIME flow® kitchen ventilation to a new level. The air duct system moves cooking vapor as efficiently as possible. At the same time, the new air duct system revolutionizes installation.

Great time savings in assembly

"We have thought the ventilation technology behind the range hood a very big deal further," rejoices managing director Lasse Naber. "Our development department has scrutinized every detail, questioned things, used state-of-the-art simulation software and solved decades of assembly problems." COMPAIR PRIME flow® is completely assembled without tools, packing material and without adhesive tape and is still perfectly airtight. "It makes us very happy to present to the industry the optimum in ventilation technology, which is realizable today," says Lasse Naber.

It doesn't get more efficient

"One cannot save more energy," says Dr. Bing. Alfred Bruns, head of the development department at Naber. What he means are the newly designed flat or round pipe elbows and connectors of COMPAIR PRIME flow®. They are tuned with the latest 3D flow simulations for minimum air resistance and maximum efficiency. Responsible for this are the bionic housings modelled after nature and the now curved and, depending on the radius, individually designed guide vanes in the curves. Together with turbulators, small elevations like on an airplane wing, they also expel large volumes of air cleanly and without flow ripples. The result: significantly better air transport capacity even with small fan stages, significantly lower noise development and significantly lower energy consumption of the extractor system. Last but not least, COMPAIR PRIME flow® prepared for future efficiency and airtightness requirements imposed by building technology.

Lock, click, done

At the heart of the system is the universal connector. It connects shaped pieces and also pipe pieces simply by plugging them together. The flexible 2-lip seal guarantees an airtight seat, locking elements position the parts securely together. Clicking is the acoustic confirmation that everything fits securely. Thus, modules are quick to assemble. The traditionally laborious masking of connection points with adhesive tape is eliminated, and difficult installation situations can be mastered easily and faster. In addition, each connector has a flexible zone. This compensator allows directional changes of 15 degrees in any direction and thus becomes the problem solver during assembly.

Wall transit unit cleverly mounted

How much experience and practical knowledge of the global market leader there is in COMPAIR PRIME flow® protrudes, wall penetration units also show. The penetrations through the exterior wall are available complete with an assembly kit for the shell construction. The separately packaged set is provided by the mason or oor a service provider during the construction of the building and sealed with two hard foam plugs. These plugs have alignment aids for precise assembly and a plaster side for safe plastering both inside and outside. A newly developed wall plug sleeve seals the gap between masonry and ventilation pipe airtight - also without tools and without packing material. After removing the plugs, the kitchen fitter then simply raises the connection stub with a click and slides the energy-saving Naber THERMOBOX and one of the two, stainless steel design blinds into the pipe from the outside. Thanks to premounted, circumferential seals, the whole unit is also permanently air- and rain-tight on the outside.

Fit for the future

COMPAIR PRIME flow® is suitable for all range hood systems: return air, ventilation and the popular cooktop extractors or Downdraft fans. For routing power and data cables, the flat and round ducts feature slots for an optional cable duct that simply slides in. For the flat ducts, there is also a support bridge available that enables load-bearing installation in the floor structure, for example in the case of a free-standing kitchen island. In addition, the material-optimized support bridge serves as a cable duct.

"Last, but not least"

Last but not least, the directional air duct system is extremely sustainable. Due to ecological product design and socially responsible production, sustainability clearly increases in comparison to competing products.
