Last week, we presented new innovations and designs during Eurocucina at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. The organizers counted a record total of 361,417 visitors. At the bottom of this article you will find the opportunity to visit our booth virtually.
Where Technology and Design Shape New Horizons - The Isola collection is characterized by rounded corners, surprising and revolutionary lighting and visible heights. Instead of hiding the cooktop in the entire kitchen design, the cooktop becomes an integral part of the kitchen design. "Isola" therefore stands for island in Italian, with the cooktop forming the visible island on the kitchen worktop.
The full collection includes:
- Induction Cooktops
- Induction hobs with integrated extraction
- Pendant hoods with revolutionary lighting
- Suspended light rails, to be combined with the induction hobs with integrated extractor fan
With the FAB retro refrigerators we always try to be at the forefront of the latest trends in terms of color. During the fair we presented 9 new colors of the refrigerators. It is still possible for everyone to vote for their favorite color, click here to cast your vote. Some of these colors we will launch later this year as a new special in the collection.
Naat the FAB refrigerators, this year we have also given the Portofino stoves a new finish and here it is also possible to cast your vote. In addition, technical improvements will also be introduced on the Portofino range stoves that will better manage the available voltage between the hob section and the oven(s).
In addition to the current range of built-in wine climate cabinets, two new sizes will be added to the range, namely:
- 88 cm (up to 40 bottles)
- 178 cm (up to 83 bottles, with all-oak built-in sommer drawer)
The built-in wine climate cabinets feature two temperature zones and a universal design that can be combined with all SMEG design lines.
These wine climate cabinets will also be the first to be equipped with the new e-motion door system, which opens the door automatically when touched and also closes it again automatically. This system will eventually be introduced in all wine climate cabinets.
- Our premium design line Dolce Stil Novo will feature a new top model which is completely handle-less and thus features automatic door opening and closing. This makes it possible to achieve an even sleeker design in the kitchen.
- Induction cooktops and our hood-in-hob cooktops will feature a new finish, matte black. This will be available in addition to the already existing matte neptune gray finish.
- As a result of customer research, we are going to equip our dishwashers with smarter solutions on the inside. For example, there will be extra holders for taller bottles so they don't fall over (ideal for bottle-to-go bottles or carafes). There will also be extra holders for wine glasses so that they can be cleaned quickly and easily after a large dinner.
A new category within SMEG's small household range. This includes freestanding induction hobs and freestanding steam ovens (equipped with Galileo Multicooking Technology). Also, the platform House of Coffee has been expanded with the new Mini Pro Espresso Machine EMC02 and the accompanying Mini Pro Bean Grinder CGF02. The EMC02 joins the forces of SMEG and la Pavoni for the ultimate barista experience. Completely made in Italy and with a professional look and feel. The Mini Pro comes with a complete accessory set (milk jug and tamper) and features include a customizable LCD display, precise temperature control, a professional portafilter (58 mm), pressure gauge and triple heating system. The Mini Pro Espresso Machine will be available in the three colors white, black and emerald green with a matte finish.
With Blu Mediterraneo SMEG and Dolce&Gabbana have presented the third generation collaboration with each other. An ode to the colors of Mediterranean sea: from the purity of white to the serenity of blue, the colors of the waves are hereby reflected on the equipment of the collection. A collection where the nuances of color come together with the vibrancy and elegance of the majolica print. This collection is completely Made in Italy.
Luxury, extra-large built-in refrigerators and matching wine climate cabinets equipped with the knowledge and advanced technologies of the medical sector. Thanks to the acquisition of Fri.Med by the SMEG group, we have these technologies and produce this collection completely in-house, made in Italy.
The refrigerators include a Vitesy brand photocalytic filter, which keeps food fresh longer, removes unpleasant odors and reduces bacteria. Available in a variety of widths and can be combined with each other as desired. Watch the video here for more information.
Outdoor kitchens are becoming increasingly popular and SMEG is responding to this with a new product group and collection, namely electric built-in barbecues. Available in 60, 90 and 120 cm with one to three grill zones. The temperature is easily controlled by the illuminated knobs on the side. They are lockable with a stainless steel lid and come standard with a teppanyaki plate.
