One kitchen faucet, many options, enormous kitchen comfort

Charles Eames, one of the most influential and visionary designers of the last century, once said, "The idea of being able to do multiple things with a single object is at the heart of my approach to design." Franke picked up on this thinking and comes up with the boiling water faucets Mythos and Maris.

Maik Janssen of Franke brings out the superlatives when it comes to the new Mythos and Maris boiling water faucets. "Multifunctional, superior functionality and choice," he echoes. "They are gamechangers in any home. With a full range of options at the touch of a button, Mythos and Maris provide a lot of kitchen convenience."

All-in-one

Mythos, which is a 6-in-1 water solution that provides your preferred water in a simple way. On top of the standard cold and hot water, there are four special filtered options: filtered water, chilled water, sparkling water and instant boiling water. "Mythos is a true one-stop water solution that really saves space in the kitchen," Maik emphasizes. "Buying bottles of water is not necessary, a kettle and other appliances are unnecessary, and it also frees up space in the refrigerator and freezer. A functional system with electronic LED indicator guarantees smart and easy operation."

Impressive technology

The Maris Water Hub is a complete water system consisting of a faucet, a water heater, a filter and a cup. The water heater unit, available in four-liter and seven-liter versions, fits nicely in the cabinet under the sink and faucet, thus not taking up valuable space elsewhere. The faucet is available in chrome, stainless steel, stainless steel-look and matte black. "In addition to the space-saving aspect, there is also a sustainability aspect," says Maik. "Activating hot or cold water, the water flow opens halfway. A built-in ECO cartridge comes to the rescue to achieve water savings of 50%. Meanwhile, a hot water limiter helps control the water temperature to save on energy costs as well."

Color plays an important role

The well-known Fragranite sink series immediately gets three more colors during Küchenmeile: Slate Grey, Oyster and Coffee Cream. "The three colors bring nature into the home, creating a relaxing and intimate living kitchen," explains Maik. "Slate Grey goes nicely with the metallic surfaces of faucets and water systems, such as chrome or brushed stainless steel. Oyster makes nice combinations with natural stone-like countertops, especially with also our matching faucet in the same color as the sink. And also Coffee Cream, a neutral beige shade, combines well with natural stone(like) countertops, as well as travertine."

Presented in Löhne

One of the visitor magnets during the Küchenmeile in September will undoubtedly be the House4Kitchen in Löhne (D). Franke is one of the exhibitors present there. "Maris, Mythos and the new Fragranite colors play an important role this year," says Maik. "We are only too happy to introduce them to the numerous kitchen professionals making the trip to Löhne.
