Design and functionality go hand in hand in today's modern boiling water faucet!

Introduction of new model

There is plenty of satisfaction at Dekker Zevenhuizen because there is a new wonderful addition to the range of Selsiuz boiling water faucets. We are talking about the Hexagon. "I really see this one as a high-profile design," says Ben van Elk, responsible for marketing at Dekker Zevenhuizen. "Design and functionality go hand in hand in a wonderful way with this new faucet."

For Selsiuz, Dutch top designer Osiris Hertman designed the beautiful and successful Cone Counter faucet several years ago. "Now there is a sequel: the Hexagon. The name gives it away: this faucet is characterized by a hexagonal crane body. Everywhere in the design you see that same hexagonal shape."

Of course, there is no lack of functionality because a faucet must remain a faucet. Ben: "Like the other faucets in the Selsiuz collection, this one is available not only as a boiling water faucet but also as a faucet with sparkling and chilled water." 

Ben explains that the faucets are available in the colors Inox, Copper, Gold, Gun Metal as well as the brand new Sturdy Black. "This matte black color is attached to the faucet, so to speak," Ben explains. "Because of this, there is much less chance of impact damage which would be the case with a powder coating. So this faucet can literally take a beating. Very convenient in the kitchen where people also just work and small accidents do not have to lead to personal frustration about the resulting scratches."

The color Gun Metal remains as popular as ever. "This one has actually become a true classic in the years that Selsiuz has been on the market. And, also available in all models. Whether it is a faucet with the traditional push/swivel button or as an electronic control integrated into
the kitchen countertop."

"The Selsiuz boiling water faucet - either in the classic Gun Metal or the new Sturdy Black - can easily be combined with a matching black Lanesto Urban sink. As a result, the kitchen becomes a single unit. Color and design are perfectly matched."

PVD technology

By the way, Ben emphasizes that PVD technology makes the sink long-lasting. "Physical Vapor Deposition is a modern technique that provides metal objects such as faucets and sinks with a wafer-thin, but rock-solid top coat that does not oxidize, is highly resistant to most cleaning agents and is also environmentally friendly. These are really aspects a consumer wants to hear when it comes to their own kitchen. Moreover, PVD technology ensures that the metallic sheen is retained. In the case of Sturdy Black, so-called "ceramic PVD" has been applied. This therefore provides the matte black look."

So the conversation in the kitchen showroom takes on even more potential, Ben concludes. "After all, we are convinced that consumers not only want something beautiful in their kitchens, but they also want to keep it as beautiful as possible for as long as possible.
