Indispensable and widely used in every kitchen: the sink. From simply washing hands to rinsing vegetables or doing hefty dishes. We spend a lot of time at and in the sink.
The kitchen is the beating heart of any home. It is in the kitchen that everyone gathers to eat and, of course, first to prepare the meal. During that cozy moment you catch up with your family, receive guests, and so on. Then a nice look, as well as a practical layout, is an important fact. Since the sink is an essential part of a kitchen, Franke believes that due attention should be paid to it, in terms of materials, colors and finish. In addition to Maris, Box and Kubus, there is now also the Mythos sink family at Franke.

Different shapes, combinations and mounting options.
Where else to present a new sink range than at Belgium's largest construction and renovation fair. Franke showcased its Mythos sink units at its stand during Batibouw where it highlighted the multitude of options this family offers. "The units are made of high-grade stainless steel which ensures that all models are ultra-sturdy and timelessly beautiful," said Franke's Roxanne Lalmant. "They are also heat and shock resistant, and they reduce the risk of dish and glass breakage thanks to their elasticity. In addition, they are easy to clean, which is another handy asset. As is the availability of many different models and the possibility of combining them as desired. A personalized unit is now truly possible. In terms of hygiene, we also go one step further. Mythos received a tight corner radius of 25 millimeters, a flat valve cover and a new, unique rim of 6 millimeters. Dirt deposits, bacteria and dirty edges are a thing of the past. Mythos can be installed in several ways: undermount and flush mount/SlimTop."

A flat valve cover is just one of Franke's additions that add value to Mythos in the fight against bacteria and dirty edges.
Franke closely follows kitchen trends and responds to them nicely in its product development. "Indeed, the range includes a special large sink unit in which oven dishes and baking trays can be easily washed off," Lalmant points out. "More and more consumers spend a lot of time in the kitchen and experiment a lot. We do indeed take this into account in product development. A large tray with enough space and a smaller tray next to it does remain one of the most requested combinations. But we also pay a lot of attention to the development of handy accessories. These make using our Mythos even more pleasant. Think of a stainless steel draining tray and mat, a plastic cutting board and a mobile drip tray that make daily chores like washing vegetables a lot easier. It also increases the available space in the sink unit itself.
