Keukenspectrum Group is proud to announce that as of September 15, 2025, the I-KOOK Utrecht branch will be taken over by the young, successful entrepreneurs Niels Kraijenoord (24) and Jan Mol (22). The gentlemen's first store in Leiderdorp (since November 2023) is now one of the best performing stores within Keukenspectrum Group. They are now expanding their entrepreneurial adventure further into the Utrecht region. This step marks not only their rapid growth within the organization, but also their ambition to make a social difference.
Niels and Jan started their cooperation already in their youth, when they sold flowers together along the doors. Since January 1, 2024, they run I-KOOK Leiderdorp with remarkable energy, creativity and results. With the acquisition of I-KOOK Utrecht, they not only want to expand their formula, but also inspire young people.
"We want to offer Utrecht not only a beautiful kitchen showroom, but also a place where young talent grows. Whatever your education, if you have energy and go for your goals, you can go far. That's our belief," said Jan Mol.
What makes Niels and Jan extra special is their social commitment. They want to actively work to break the negative stigma around practically educated young people and MBO students. From their own experiences, they know that passion and perseverance are at least as decisive as a diploma. They want to inspire young people to embrace their passion and entrepreneurship.
"We are entrepreneurs with a mission: to show young people that doing, daring and developing yourself are as valuable as theoretical success," adds Niels Kraijenoord.

The Utrecht branch was developed in-house by Keukenspectrum Group in 2023. The move to franchise this store fits within the group strategy: to stimulate entrepreneurship. Independence of branches is part of this.
