Alluance Group, based in Genemuiden, Overijssel, supplies equipment for cooling, storing and preparing food in the very highest segment. The showroom can be called impressive, to say the least. The brands such as Sub-Zero, Wolf and OPERA stand out in design, comfort and durability. In addition, they offer excellent service and also continue to renew existing designs for even greater convenience.
One of the brands, OPERA, was created from two companies with years of experience in cooktops and exhaust technology. OPERA products are designed in Italy, and manufactured in Germany. The range of this series of induction cooktops with cooktop extraction consists of four models; Viento, Prima, Nivel and Fonda. "This combines the best of German technology and Italian design," says Martijn Schuurman, director of Alluance Group. "All models feature a powerful extraction system that does not detract from the energy efficiency and quietness of the product while cooking. So designed for optimal cooking pleasure," says Martijn. "Moreover, any loose component accessible from the top is easy to clean." The Fonda and Nivel models have been on the market for a while and now offer cooking pleasure to many users.
"Although both models have more than earned their spurs, innovation is ongoing," continued Martijn. "For example, a vertical motor is being introduced for these two models, which can be easily built in." He explains that this development makes it possible to work with plinth heights as low as 6 inches. "In addition, this 10%-15% offers additional noise reduction. The new carbon filter for these appliances is regenerable, and can be burned clean in the oven. Depending on cooking behavior, the filter only needs to be replaced every four years. The user automatically receives a notification for this displayed on the cooktop." Furthermore, in addition to a grease and carbon filter, these models also have a condensation filter. "That we use a condensation filter to remove moisture from the vapor is distinctive," says Martijn.
Both models come with a frosted glass panel. "This not only gives a luxurious look, any scratches are also less visible," Martijn emphasizes. "Furthermore, the indications on the cooktop are subtly incorporated so that the cooktop looks minimalist and sleek."
What makes the Nivel unique is the five cooking zones and integrated exhaust system within one plate. Martijn explains that the four cooking zones on both sides of the cooktop can also be combined, allowing the surface to be used to its fullest. "In the center of the cooktop is the fifth cooking zone, with two slots on the left and right so that steam and cooking vapors are optimally extracted." The Nivel has a removable technical drawer, equipped with LED lighting, which houses the filters for absorbing grease and odors. The removable condensation collection tray is easy to clean.
"The Fonda is the only induction cooktop with an extraction system that has an installation height of only 8 cm. This allows the space under the cooktop to be fully utilized as a cutlery drawer," says Martijn. "In addition, the central, removable part of the induction hob allows the extraction direction to be matched to that part of the cooking zone that is in use. The innovative three-part filter system is highly functional; it captures condensation and separates it from the grease sucked in. This prevents grease from settling in the motor and drains. The optional activated carbon filter eliminates any cooking odors."
The result of the innovative innovations to the successful models Nivel and Fonda create unique, smart induction hobs with an integrated functional extraction system, which make the value for money even better.
