Extractor specialist berbel is launching a new base model within the Skyline Edge series of island hoods with elevator system; the Skyline Edge Base. The Skyline Edge Base features basic functions and has a narrow linear hood. This new, narrower design gives the Skyline series a modern aesthetic and lightness. The slim silhouette is accentuated by an elegant, narrow light edge.
With an adjustment height of up to 1200 mm, the elevator system provides more than enough room to move the Skyline Edge Base into the ideal position above the cooktop. In addition to effect lighting, the island hood also offers a powerful LED hob light. Both can be set to different light intensities and color temperatures to create a warm, inviting atmosphere or a cool, modern ambiance as desired and optimally illuminate the cooktop.
The color temperature and brightness of the LED cooktop light can be infinitely adjusted to individual preferences. In addition, the stylish light edge creates a pleasant atmosphere. The light thus becomes a design element.
Basic functions, such as the elevator system, extraction and lighting, are easily controlled with the included remote control. An additional control option is available via the new berbel+ app on the smartphone or tablet, which is connected via bluetooth to the Skyline Edge Base. All remote control functions can also be controlled via this app. The app offers a high degree of flexibility and clarity in managing selected settings.
The island hood is available in widths of 100 cm and 120 cm and comes standard with an attractive ceiling plate made of high-quality stainless steel and optionally with activated carbon filter or maintenance-free permalyt®-recirculation filter. Available in matte black, black and white, the Skyline Edge Base will fit into any kitchen design.
