Metalworking as an art form in the kitchen

For those who want to cook Italian-style

In the world of kitchen design, it's not just the technology that makes the difference. It is the materials, finishes and details that speak of vision and craftsmanship. That is exactly where Bertazzoni knows how to distinguish itself. The Italian family business is renewing its line of built-in ovens as well as introducing new induction hobs - with a focus on ease of use and innovation.

To understand where this unique combination comes from, we need to take a moment to go back in time. It is April 2018 when Bertazzoni introduces three distinctive design lines: the classically inspired Heritage series, the powerful Professional series and the minimalist Modern series with its signature invisible handle. Each with its own look, but unmistakably linked by one common element: mastery of metalwork. Not only stainless steel plays a starring role; materials such as copper, zinc, enamels and even Carbonio car paint highlight the sophistication with which each appliance is designed.

Anno 2025

Now back to the here and now. In June 2025, Bertazzoni is revamping its built-in oven line and introducing new induction cooktops. The trends deployed in Italy in fashion, interior design and automotive are also finding their way into the kitchen. Erik van Berkel, co-owner of Bertazzoni Benelux BV: "Stainless steel is back in style. The durability and robust appearance of stainless steel makes it a constant factor in kitchen land. Bertazzoni built-in ovens are available in many stainless steel variants in both the Professional series and the Modern series."

Modern-serie

Bertazzoni tested the design update of the Modern series extensively in 2024. Three new metal finishes emerged from this: Gold, Obsedian (a gunmetal shade) and Bronze. All finishes are high-gloss and demonstrate Bertazzoni's craftsmanship in metalwork unabated. This sets Bertazzoni apart from the rest of the market and offers kitchen retailers new design options.

The optimal cooking result

In addition to the design update, the technical aspect has not been forgotten. The deluxe models feature a new color TFT screen and an Airfryer function. The 60-centimeter models are available in Multi-function with LCD or TFT screen, Multi-function with pyrolysis and combi-steam with pyrolysis. The Bertazzoni Assistant offers support in control. The user selects the dish and the Bertazzoni Assistant selects the ideal cooking method for optimal cooking results.

With induction hobs, the challenge is much greater to be distinctive in design as well. But on a technical level, there is still plenty to achieve. Bertazzoni thought so too, because the Italian family business has developed its own technology. Operation is via a color TFT screen. This is also where five Bertazzoni Assistant programs are controlled: Pasta Program, Maintain Temperature, Steam, Boil Water and Fry. The cooktop is equipped with sensors that measure the temperature of the pan, making cooking even easier for users. These induction cooktops are available in 60, 78 and 90 cm.

These 212 cm high cabinets can be installed with the kitchen's furniture panel.

But not only the technology of induction cooktops is unique. There is also a link to metalwork here. In addition to full glass, the models are also available ex-factory with a metal frame finish in Gold, Carbonio and stainless steel. In this way, the induction cooktop can also differentiate in design and is a perfect match with the ovens in the kitchen.

Refrigerator, freezer and wine climate cabinets are now available in 45, 60, 75 and 90 cm versions. These 212 cm high cabinets can be installed with the kitchen's furniture panel or matching Bertazzoni door panels in stainless steel or Carbonio. Handle sets are available in Heritage, Master and Professional design styles.
