Extraction specialist continues to innovate

Today's kitchen is more than a place to cook: it is the beating heart of the home. Novy responds to this perfectly with three thoughtful products: the popular Easy cooktop with integrated extractor, the powerful and panoramic Panorama extractor, and the new Undercover, developed in collaboration with Cosentino.

The Novy Easy 1861 is now a familiar name in the segment of induction hobs with integrated exhaust. And not without reason. The Easy is equipped with an advanced recirculation filter with an odor filtering efficiency as high as 95 to 100% and a lifetime of 450 hours. With four zones of 3000W each, the system delivers equal power over the entire cooking surface. So pans no longer need to be moved around to use optimum power. The series has also been expanded with smart variants: a compact 65 cm model suitable for a standard 60 cm base cabinet (Easy 1871/1881), a version with front operation (Prestige 1866), and a version in stylish matt black glass with white operation (1861 G1 Matte Line).

True extraction quality just above the cooking surface

Still, the Easy is not the logical choice for everyone, emphasizes Fred van Liere of Novy. "The pond of induction hobs with integrated extraction is a full one. Of course we participate, but we also think it's important to offer alternatives for people who want real extraction quality - and you still get that best if you extract directly above the pan." By this, Van Liere is referring to the Panorama, Novy's unique system where the extraction is at the same height as the edge of the pan.

"Odors disappear even more effectively at the Panorama," Van Liere states. "But it seems that these days we settle for less fight against odors - we opt more often for design. Whereas this system, once properly explained, actually appeals to consumers who take cooking seriously." The Panorama is available in several sizes, including a 120 cm variant with five cooking zones, and invites you to cook "panoramically" side by side rather than back to back.

Unique innovative collaboration

The latest chapter in Novy's story is called Undercover. This induction cooktop is completely incorporated under the worktop and specially developed together with Cosentino. Van Liere is proud of the result: "This collaboration was unique. Everything was tested together, validated and only when we were sure, included in the design. This without negatively affecting the quality and design of the worktop. Not even in the long term."

He understands that there is skepticism. "Logically, people are familiar with previous attempts. But this is the result of two specialists joining forces. Cosentino knows the worktop like no other, we know induction technology. Together we continued until we knew for sure what was and was not possible." The Undercover also recently won a Red Dot Award. With this, both parties feel empowered. And rightly so, because during the last Küchenmeile, the Undercover already received a lot of attention from visitors. Van Liere: "We also notice this with the fitters. Something different again. Really something new on the market again. We are very happy with all of that."

Lighting that completes the kitchen

In recent years, Novy has also been thinking beyond cooking and extraction. Because without the traditional extractor hood, the lighting above the cooktop also disappears. Therefore, Novy offers a stylish collection of lighting that combines functionality and atmosphere. The Shelf is an elegant wall shelf with light, Wall a sleek wall solution, and the Pendant is perfect for above kitchen islands or dining tables. All models are available in white or black and range from 95 to 305 cm wide. Van Liere: "We wanted to be able to offer something for our customers in the lighting field. With this range we can make many people happy and they don't have to go to a home improvement store to finish the kitchen. This can now be done at the kitchen retailer as well."
